Identifying the New Borneo 1939 Set issues is very simple. There is only one listed color shade, all of the stamps have the same watermark. The biggest challenge with this set is to find it at a reasonable price.

Unlike modern stamps which are issued in the millions, definitive sets from this time period were issued very conservatively. I do not have the print quantities for these issues. This set was issued in 1939. Japan invaded Malaysia in December, 1941, so there was not a lot of time for many printings. Considering most of the stock of stamps were overprinted by the Japanese, it is not surprising to find that this is a pretty scarce set. Please feel free to supply the initial print and overprint quantities if you have them.
