The King George VI Falkland Islands stamps were printed from 1938 until about 1952. There are two sets, the initial version which was printed from 1938 until about 1950, and a second set that was printed in 1952. Most of the collector interest is in the first set because there are identifiable varieties and some genuine rarities. The stamps were printed by Bradbury Wilkinson, so you won't find perforation changes. The most noticeable differences are the paper and gum which are significantly different for the various print dates - even though the color changes are what is noted in the catalogs. The pages are from my collection, and are identified by the Commonwealth, Gibbons, and Scott numbers in that order. The Commonwealth listings are noted as BK instead of CW because when the page was created Bridger & Kay were publishing the catalogue. The page images were scanned in a larger size and at a higher resolution so you can more easily see the details used in viewing them.
